LED display industry in China started in the early 1990s. And it developed rapidly and steadily all the time. The marketing sale amount of these enterprises occupied more than 80% of LED display market of China.
Beginning with meeting domestic market, China’s LED display industry has formed certain export scale. Sale of full-color screen grew rapidly in recent years. According to the statistics made by LED Display Industry Association toward its members, within the 3.34 billion RMB total sales amounts, 1.734 billion RMB is the sales amount of full-color screen. Export amount is 551 million RMB, and export amount of full-color screen is 481 million RMB.

Ranked next were the dual-color displays with a demand value of 1.63 billion Yuan, accounting for 40.2% of the entire market. Monochrome displays were not expensive, and so also achieved a total revenue of 710 million Yuan.
Now with the approaching of the Olympic Games and the World Expo, more and more LED displays will be used in stadiums, gymnasiums and roadways. LED displays will be enjoying a rapid growth in application of sports squares. As the market demand for full color displays grows in the sectors of stadiums, gymnasiums, and advertisements, full color LED displays will occupy an expanding market proportion. Car audio goes digital LED
Car audio enthusiasts probably know that technological developments in car audio systems follow trends set forth by its home audio counterparts and the computer industry.
Finally small-sized pictures used in cars now have a 800 x 480 resolution digital LED touch screen with 1.15 million pixels by Kamaz.
This is Thailand’s first car audio component to use an LED digital with 2 DIN size head unit/DVD/tuner/navigation system. But this component has no built-in TV tuner.
Pricing is high, at about B60,000, but offers a variety of features:
- Twin processor separated into two units: for the audio system and the other for the navigation (Speed Navi) system. The video and audio systems from this processor enable fast and efficient assigning and operation of navigation and AV commands on the display. There is no lag.
- Three separate video zones from auxiliary input with two more additional sources for two more external displays. For example, the Aux 1 is connected to a Playstation II and the Aux 2 is connected to an iPOD. You can assign the video and audio feeds to appear on the desired screens or on all three screen displays if necessary.
