Printer Cartridge Office Supplies – Making Toners Print Longer
Colour Laser Toner is dear. Printer manufacturer’s office supplies online and stationery companies are delving deep into our pockets to relieve us in our wages by using what in a few quarters could be construed as unscrupulous methods. Anyone following my articles know why this really is. To put it differently, GREED.
I’m these are chips, chips which might be disabling printer cartridges.
What is the way to restart those pesky printer chips, well, the answer is it depends. No, such as when the chip stops the printer that’s it as far as the cartridge is worried and you may stop able to print an additional page and soon you replace the cartridge, but yes for the reason that many printers might be tricked to override the cartridge by following a few simple instructions and pressing some printer buttons.
Let’s start with picking out a popular HP colour laser printer the HP Colour Laserjet CP1515n, the next instructions is going to be the case with every printer on this field by way of example it’s bigger brother the CP3523. Test it on any HP printer having a screen.
HP introduced a new design of printer whereby the cartridges are installed horizontally as opposed to vertically like with older designs the once extremely popular HP 2600 printer like a great example. The CP1515N printer prints slow only 12 pages per minute, ample to the home user or SOHO but not rated as a business machine. The printer is priced to market, around the face from it, its cheap. Hardly ever considered though from the buyer will be the expense of the consumables. The printer takes four cartridges black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Far from just as one economical basic printer this machine can be a costly device to run. Cartridges are on average as much as £65.00 for OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and £51.00 for compatibles. To fill the printer with consumables can run you between £210.00 and £260.00. Ouch!!
Lets alleviate the problem just a little.
Follow these simple instructions to resuscitate an allegedly dead cartridge. The printer has a small screen on the front top right of the printer. The saying Ready will be displayed unless the printer requires a cartridge then you’ll have a replace cartridge message. Below the screen are 3 separate buttons
1. An OK button flanked about the nearly everywhere side by triangle symbols.
2. Some control with the ominous X into it. (cancel button)
3. An arrow the same shape as the letter U lying on its side for want of a better description (Returns you to previous menu).
Prior to taking fright on the task that lies before you decide to console yourself with the thoughts that, there is absolutely no way these instructions will damage your printer (guaranteed) even though you continually ruin.
You will end up quids in.
Let’s begin.
Press the OK button once, Main Menu Reports will appear.
Hit the triangle off to the right from the OK button once, Main Menu System Setup look.
Hit OK.Hit the triangle to the right of OK twice System Setup Print Quality look.
Hit OK. In System Setup Print Quality hit the triangle off to the right with the OK button twice until Replace Supplies appears.
Hit OK. Replace Supplies Override Out will immediately appear.
Hit OK and you’re simply done, simple.
You’re cartridges will now print countless extra pages much more than that! The 1st sign you will see once your cartridge is truly empty will probably be fading print quality the printer will have finally be used up.
I’ve designated HP they are not the sole company with this extortion racket most printer manufacturers are, why not, it’s actually a great scam. In the future articles Let me explain other methods in overcoming printer manufacturer’s tricks.
